Session 1 - I am learning to listen and read a wide range of religious stories. Session 2 - I am learning to explore the uses and special meanings of writing. Session 3 - I am learning to show understanding of fairness in a global context. I am learning to explore how personal beliefs affect our attitudes to others. Session 4 - I am learning to identify what Christians believe about equality and fairness using a variety of resources. I am learning to be able to use my knowledge to suggest future actions. Session 5 - I am learning to discover whether Christians out their beliefs into practice through supporting charities. I am learning to understand what motivates different people to support charities.

Session 1 - I am learning to understand rituals. I am learning to describe how Christians use the Paschal Candle Session 2- I am learning to know which festivals are celebrated in Spring. I am learning to understand importance of rituals. Session 3 - I am learning about the resurrection of Christ. I can retell the story. Session 4 - I am learning about Easter Symbols. I am learning that Easter is a celebration of new life. Session 5 - I am learning to understand the importance of symbols. Session 6 - I am learning to understand the importance of symbols.

Session 1 - I am learning to consider what/ who is important to me. I am learning to know that Jewish people believe in one G-d. I am learning the importance of the creation story to Jewish people. Session 2 - I am learning to understand in what ways is the importance of the Torah demonstrated? Session 3 - I am learning to know what is meant by their term tradition. I am learning to know the importance of Shabbat and family to the Jewish people. Session 4 - I am learning to know that Shabbat is a special rest time for Jewish people. I am learning to talk about the Havdalah ceremony. I am learning to think about and discuss my own experience of rest and peace. Session 5 - I am learning to know and understand the Jewish belief in one good God. I am learning about the rules Jewish people follow. Session 6 - I am learning about the Synagogue.

Six weeks of planning for Autumn 2 RE - which leads to a big write that answers the 'Big Question' Is Christmas is a festival of light or love? Planning and WALTS have been includes with some differentiation. I have uploaded the resources I have made. Session 1 - I am learning that events give structure to peoples lives. I am learning to reflect upon events and celebrations which are important to us and think about how they make us feel. Session 2 - I am learning to identify the feelings associated with anticipation. I am learning to understand that for Christians Advent is a time of waiting. Session 3 - I am learning that the story of the birth of Jesus is of central importance in Christianity. I am learning what Christmas tells us about Jesus. Session 4 - I am learning to know that the gifts brought by the Wise Men had special significance. I am learning to consider the significance of the story of the visit of the Wise Men. Session 5 - I am learning to know that Jesus is considered to be the “Light of the World” to Christians. I am learning to reflect on kind, caring people who work for the good of others today. I am learning to link the symbolism of light at Christmas with Jesus Session 6 - I am learning to share what have I learned. I am learning to explain if Christmas is a festival of light or love?
